Starting line-up
The start for the 5K run WITHOUT timiekeeping and the 5K Walking / Nordic walking takes place from one starting wave. The line-up is in the following order: runners first, followed by walkers and finally Nordic walkers. This order also applies to the joint start for the 10K disciplines.
NOTE:
Schedule and course are subject to change. The race will take place regardless of the weather, unless there is a weather warning from the German Weather Service.
The VITAMIN WELL Women's Race Berlin is organized in accordance with the regulations of the German Athletics Association (DLV) under the supervision of the Berlin Athletics Association (BLV).
Start Card and race material pick up
About 7-10 days before the event, we will automatically send you your start card and further information about the race by e-mail.
Race material pick up:
When:
Thursday, May 15, from 2pm to 7pm
Friday, May 16, from 10am to 7pm
Where:
adidas Sports Base Berlin, Schleusenufer 4, 10997 Berlin
or
On the day of the event (Saturday, May 17) in the starting area from 11.30am onwards
How:
- With your start card and a photo ID
- If you would like to collect the race material for other runners, this is not a problem. Ask for their Start Card, photo ID (copy is enough) and a power of attorney.
Attention: New Start & Finish Area
We have redesigned the start and finish area on Straße des 17. Juni this year. For the first time, the finish line will also serve as the starting line, bringing it significantly closer to the Brandenburg Gate. This means shorter distances and an even better atmosphere for you before the start.
Return your bottle and do good!
At the VITAMIN WELL Women's Race Berlin, we will collect your empty returnable bottles - whether given out by our partners or brought by you - in special collection containers on the event site. Our dedicated team of deposit collection volunteers will also be happy to accept your empty bottles.
All returnable bottles collected in this way will help in two ways: they will be recycled in an environmentally friendly way and the proceeds will go to the Berliner Krebsgesellschaft e.V. and therefore to women who are in financial need due to their cancer.
So: use the marked deposit containers or talk to our volunteers.
Please note that
- you do not need to crush the bottles,
- you tip out large quantities of residual liquid beforehand,
- do not throw any general waste into the deposit collection containers

Change of distance, Cancellation and Transfer:
- Change of distance
For a change to another discipline a processing fee of € 5,- will be charged. In addition, the difference to the current price level may be due.
For example, if you register for 5K running without time (Level I) and you want to switch to 10K running (Level II) an amount of 11 euro in total is due.
Please inform us about your wish to change the discipline in writing via our contact form.
- Cancellation
Due to the logistical and organisational complexity of the event, we cannot refund the participation fee if you are unable to attend. Thank you for your understanding.
- Transfer
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your race entry to another person or another year. Your race entry is personalized and relatet to the event.
You will find detailed information on withdrawal and exchange in our conditions of participation.
- Insurance
To cover the participation fee, we recommend purchasing the ERGO cancellation insurance during the online registration. More information can be found here.
Certificates and Results
After crossing the finish line, you will get your well-deserved medal.
All participants without timekeeping will find a participant certificate online after the race.
All participants with timekeeping will find their personal certificate in the results list. A few days after the event, your race photos and your finisher video clip will also be available for purchase there.
The results list will be available online in the evening of the event under the menu point Event > Results.
The disciplines of the walking and nordic walking will be without ranking but sorted in alphabetic order.
If you pre-ordered an official certificate, we will automatically send it to you by mail 4 to 6 weeks after the event.
